Neuranics Connects with the Global Magnetics Community at INTERMAG 2026

Less than 1 minute Minutes

Neuranics attended the IEEE Magnetics Society Conference, INTERMAG 2026, held in Manchester, UK from 13 to 17 April 2026. This year marked the first time INTERMAG had taken place in the UK for over a decade, making it a significant moment for the UK magnetics community.

Throughout the week, Applications Engineer Peter O’Hanlon and Innovation Manager Siming Zuo were on Stand 18 presenting the latest demonstrations enabled by our ultra-sensitive TMR magnetic sensing solutions. They were supported by members of our wider sensor team, including Senior TMR Sensor Engineer Mahmoud Rasly and CTO Hadi Heidari.

INTERMAG provided a focused technical setting for discussions across fundamental and applied magnetism. For Neuranics, it was a valuable opportunity to engage with researchers, engineers and technical teams working on the next generation of magnetic materials, devices and sensing systems.

As we continue to advance our TMR magnetic sensing technology, the conference offered useful insight into the breadth of work taking place across the field and where magnetics research is heading. Discussions at our stand covered sensor sensitivity, device optimisation, integration requirements and potential applications for compact, low power magnetic sensing.

The level of engagement reflected growing interest in practical sensing approaches that can move from research environments towards real-world systems. INTERMAG 2026 was a valuable opportunity to contribute to these conversations and connect with others working across the wider magnetics field.

Following INTERMAG 2026, we will continue progressing our TMR magnetic sensing solutions and building on the technical conversations from Manchester. We look forward to further engagement with researchers, engineers and partners exploring new possibilities in magnetic sensing.
