Neuranics Welcomes Dan Flanegan as XR Advisor to Support US Growth

Neuranics is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Flanegan as XR Advisor, marking the company’s first US-based hire as we continue to expand our global presence and partnerships.

Dan brings extensive experience across XR, AI, and product leadership, with a proven track record of building and scaling high-growth technology products. A three-time venture-backed entrepreneur, he has held leadership roles at Qualcomm, ClayAIR, and Butter, and currently advises and invests in emerging technology companies.

His experience is a natural fit for Neuranics’ focus on next-generation human-machine interfaces. As Product Lead at ClayAIR, later acquired by Qualcomm, he developed platform-agnostic hand tracking and gesture recognition solutions, enabling intuitive interaction with XR systems. At Qualcomm, he contributed to the Snapdragon Spaces XR platform, supporting the growth of the developer ecosystem and advancing spatial computing capabilities.

This background complements Neuranics’ pioneering approach to magnetic sensing. Our TMR magnetic sensing solutions achieve picoTesla-level sensitivity, enabling entirely new ways to capture and interpret bio signals. This creates the foundation for a new class of applications, from highly precise gesture recognition to seamless, always-on wearable interfaces.

As Neuranics continues to advance our magnetic sensing solutions, Dan will support product strategy, strategic partnerships, and US market engagement, helping accelerate the translation of our technology into scalable, real-world systems.

Dan joins Neuranics recognising the potential of our technology to enable a new generation of intuitive, scalable interfaces and will work closely with the team to bring these capabilities into real-world products. He added:
