We seek a highly motivated sensor verification technician to join our ambitious, growing team. The successful candidate will be critical in testing our cutting-edge magnetic sensors with our front-end circuits and/or signal measurement instruments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects impacting the electronics industry.

Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare samples for tests; this includes wire bonding, use of pick and place machines, PCB soldering and measurement setup.
  • Perform standard and bespoke tests for characterising magnetic sensors with front-end circuits and measurement equipment.
  • Document sensor performance, including sensitivity and noise measurements from
    magnetic sensors system.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sensor characterisation techniques.
Education And Experience:
  • An accredited university degree, or BTEC/SQA award, or completion of an apprenticeship leading to an NVQ/SVQ at Level 4 for incorporated engineers
  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of electronics and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience testing electronic assemblies using traditional tooling, such as multi-
    meter, oscilloscope, power supply, function generator, etc.
