Neuranics Wins UKBA Deep-Tech Investment Award

Less than 1 minute Minutes

We are thrilled to announce that Neuranics has won the Deep Tech Investment of the Year at the UK Angel Investment Awards, held during a ceremony at the Science Museum in London.

This prestigious award, sponsored by the Royal Academy of Engineering, celebrates Neuranics’ exceptional growth and groundbreaking achievements in the deep tech sector over the past ten months.

CEO Noel McKenna shared:

“The entire Neuranics team is delighted by the judges’ recognition of our hard work, both before and after our spin-out in September 2023. Thanks to the support of our investors, we’ve transformed from a university startup into a respected international deep-tech quantum sensor company in just 10 months. We’re now looking to build on this early success, developing the world’s most advanced wristband controllers for the metaverse and machine control. Keep an eye out for our job postings as we continue to grow and bring in world-class talent.”

Since securing £1.9 million in funding in September 2023, Neuranics has made remarkable progress, expanding its team to 15 highly skilled engineers and professionals. Each team member has contributed to the development of our cutting-edge quantum sensing technologies. This growth has enabled Neuranics to accelerate our development and commercialisation efforts, leading to significant milestones in a short period.

One of our standout achievements has been the launch of our next-generation TMR magnetic sensor development kits. Unveiled at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, these kits attracted significant attention from leading industry players. Neuranics also made strong appearances at major trade shows, including Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in February 2024 and Sensors Converge in Silicon Valley in June 2024. These events not only increased our visibility but also initiated promising discussions with top-tier consumer electronics companies about integrating Neuranics’ sensors into their products.

As Neuranics continues to innovate and expand, this award highlights our commitment to pioneering advancements in scalable, highly sensitive magnetic sensor technology.

Looking Ahead, we are focused on further expansion, building partnerships with Tier 1 customers, and commercialising our cutting-edge quantum sensing and semiconductor technologies. We remain committed to revolutionising the human-machine interface, driving impactful solutions, and establishing Neuranics as a leader in sensor technology.
