Hadi Heidari Presents Neuranics Journey at ISCAS 2025
Hadi Heidari, CTO and co-founder of Neuranics, presented at IEEE ISCAS 2025, held from 25 to 28 May 2025 in London, UK. Hosted by the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, ISCAS is one of the world’s premier conferences for breakthroughs in circuits, systems, and biomedical technologies, attracting global experts in chip design, signal processing, and sensing innovation.
This year’s theme, Technology Disruption and Society, focused on how integrated electronic systems can provide innovative solutions to the most pressing challenges facing society today. ISCAS 2025 provided a powerful platform for organisations and individuals to demonstrate technical leadership and connect with a global community of researchers, engineers, and technology leaders.
As part of the Young Professionals Panel, Hadi delivered a talk on the application of Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) magnetic sensors in magnetomyography (MMG). His presentation explored how Neuranics’ integrated sensing solution enables picoTesla-level bio signal detection from muscle activity, enabling smart, non-invasive interfaces for emerging wearable and medical technologies.
He also outlined how Neuranics combines sensor hardware, custom electronics, and machine learning to achieve real-time, high-precision magnetic bio signal monitoring. This approach unlocks new capabilities in gesture recognition and long-term health monitoring.
Alongside the technical insights, Hadi reflected on the Neuranics journey. From its roots as a joint spinout of the University of Glasgow and the University of Edinburgh, Neuranics has evolved into a deep tech company transforming foundational research into real-world sensing solutions. Our team continues to build on this academic base, developing technologies that push the boundaries of human-machine interaction.
